Who these terms are with
Kerbrank is a UK service for measuring how visible local businesses are on Google Maps and in ChatGPT. These terms apply when you create an account or use the service. Kerbrank is sold to businesses, including sole traders and agencies, for use in their business.
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice. If you sign up on behalf of an agency or company, you confirm you can agree to them for it.
The free trial
Every new account gets 14 days free. No card is needed. During the trial everything works as it would on a paid plan, including scans. When the trial ends, your reports and history are kept, but scans stop until you choose a plan. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a trial.
Plans and payment
Plans are priced per month in pounds sterling, as shown on the pricing page. A plan sets how many businesses you can track, how many searches each can have and the largest map you can draw. Weekly scans are included on every plan. There are no credits or per-scan charges.
On-demand scans ("Scan now") are rationed per day to keep costs fair for everyone. The current limit is shown in the app if you reach it. Weekly automatic scans are not affected.
If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and it is not renewed after that. We don't refund part-months, because the scans for that month have already been paid for on your behalf.
If something went wrong on our side, for example the service was unavailable for a long stretch or you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will put it right, which may include a refund. None of this affects any rights you have under UK law.
Using Kerbrank fairly
You agree not to:
- use Kerbrank to track a business in order to harass, mislead or harm its owner or customers;
- try to get into another account, test our security without our written permission, or overload the service with automated requests;
- resell raw access to the service, or copy its data in bulk into another product;
- share your password. Agencies can add as many clients as their plan allows under one account.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.
The data in your reports
You own the information you put into Kerbrank, such as the businesses you track and your brand. You can share reports with your clients, including under your own brand on plans that allow it.
Reports are built from Google Maps results, Google Ads search volumes, ChatGPT answers and your website, as they were at the time of each scan. Search results change constantly and differ by person, device and place, so a report is a careful measurement, not a guarantee of what any one customer sees. The jobs in each report are suggestions based on that measurement. They are not a promise of a ranking.
Report links are private but not password-protected. Anyone with the link can open it, so only share it with people you mean to.
What we are responsible for
We work to keep Kerbrank available and accurate, and we take reasonable care with your data. We are not responsible for decisions you or your clients make based on a report, for changes Google or other services make, or for losses of profit, business or goodwill. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Carrying on using Kerbrank after that means you accept the new terms.
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We delete your data within 30 days, as the privacy notice explains. If we ever close Kerbrank, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to download your reports.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can settle any dispute. Questions about these terms go to support@kerbrank.co.uk.
